Pardaliparus is a genus of birds in the tit family that is recognized by some authorities, such as the Handbook of the Birds of the World's Internet Bird Collection (2004-2007). It is often, as here, considered part of the genus Periparus (which many authorities, lumping still more, consider a subgenus of Parus). The following species have been placed in it:The tits, chickadees, and titmice constitute Paridae, a large family of small passerine birds which occur in the northern hemisphere and Africa. Most were formerly classified in the genus Parus.
