Parkway Village, Kentucky

The population was 715 at the 2000 census. It was developed in the 1920s and derives its name from nearby Eastern Parkway. It was incorporated in 1941.There were 299 households out of which 26.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.5% were married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.5% were non-families. 29.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.94.
