Italy, summer 1943. After the Anglo-American landing in Sicily, the German troops have fortified their positions on the Italian peninsula in view of a possible defection of their Allie. Marco, a joint man from Castelvecchio, afraid he would be so called to arms and several students from the university of Pisa , secretly listen to Radio London, to keep track of war events.To join the army, (to kill or be killed) or go into hiding? Neither of the two alternatives seem to be suitable to his ways of being. It doesn't matter, as seldom we are able to choose our own destiny that often, guided by pure fatality, ends up being the only way to the future.
