Considering the major challenges being faced by the students in the aspect of Phonics, Phonetics, Diction or Oral English, this book has been made to introduce simple ways in understanding the principles and logics behind this aspect of English Language. The book discussed the twenty-five (25) vowel sounds, the twenty-four (24) consonant sounds, the consonant clusters, the consonant digraphs, syllabic consonants, rhymes, word stress and the rules, and the logics about sound patterns. The book presented solutions to the questions on Phonics or Oral English from the Standard Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination by WAEC and NECO adopted based on Basic Education Certificate Examination.The most important thing about this book is that it has considered the different aspects from which examination bodies like WAEC, NECO, JAMB, NABTEB, and others base their examinations on; and it has presented the easiest ways through which the students are able to understand the questions and get them answered correctly. The book also presents the transcriptions of the words based on the standard British style of English which has been adopted by these examination bodies.
