Released in 2013, New is the sixteenth solo studio album by Paul McCartney. The album was his first since 2007's Memory Almost Full to consist entirely of new compositions. The idea for NEW became that it would be a multi-producer Paul McCartney album: with four distinct styles, four different sets of ideas, coming together into one.
