Peace Despite Adversity

Life has challenges. We are faced with the choice of peace and joy despite our situation. When life throws you lemons, you should make lemonade. This statement may be considered a cliché, but we must look beyond the challenges and remind ourselves that we have lived to see another day. How can you encourage even one person? You may say people around you are mean, mockers, and scorners, but it does not matter who they are.Ask yourself, is it worth spending your priceless energy on negativity? Smile today, and search within you for that moment of peace. Set boundaries and start doing what you enjoy. You may say there is nothing to enjoy, but just be still, let go, and let God rejuvenate and re-energize you. You are a precious gem despite your past. You are more than the negative words spoken over your life. God loves you; you are enough. You are a star!
