This work offers innovative reflection on the future of retirement systems in Africa and on the means of ensuring sustainable social protection for future generations. In a context marked by low coverage of pension schemes, a strong predominance of the informal economy and progressive demographic transformations, the author highlights the limits of current models of social protection. Faced with these challenges, the book introduces an original approach: the establishment of retirement insurance for the child, aiming to anticipate from an early age the constitution of capital intended to guarantee financial security at retirement age. Through an analysis of the economic and social realities of the continent, the work explores the issues linked to intergenerational solidarity, long-term savings and social inclusion. The author does not limit himself to theoretical reflection. It also proposes a structured bill, accompanied by detailed legal articles, in order to translate this idea into a concrete and applicable system. This work is therefore intended to be a contribution to the public debate on social policies.
