Forced sterilization of indigenous women is a phenomenon deeply rooted in the history of many communities, marked by coercion, discrimination and violation of human rights. This practice, unfortunately, has been used as a tool for population control, cultural and racial domination, perpetrated under various justifications such as public health policies or family planning programs.
