Due to the depletion of river sand and government restrictions on sand mining in India, the construction industry faces rising costs and environmental concerns. This study investigates the use of manufactured sand as a replacement for natural sand in concrete. It examines the compressive strength and residual compressive strength of concrete with varying percentages of manufactured sand, tested at ambient temperature and elevated temperatures of 200°C, 400°C, 600°C, and 800°C with a 2-hour retention period. Weight loss at these temperatures was also measured. Results show that replacing natural sand with manufactured sand increases compressive strength at normal conditions, but has no significant effect on strength at elevated temperatures.
