Persephone and the King of Underworld: Tales from Gods

Persephone is gathering flowers beneath the bright Greek sun when an extraordinary narcissus catches her eye. The moment she reaches for it, the earth tears open and Hades, powerful king of the underworld, rises in his chariot and carries her deep beneath the living world. Her cries fade into the darkness, leaving her mother Demeter with only one certainty: her daughter is gone. Grief-stricken and furious, Demeter searches across the earth until she discovers that Persephone's disappearance was no accident. Turning away from Olympus, the goddess of the harvest refuses to let the land flourish while her daughter remains below. Seeds stop growing, fields become barren, hunger spreads among mortals, and even Zeus is forced to confront the disaster caused by a mother's sorrow. Far beneath the earth, Persephone finds herself caught between two worlds and a choice she never expected to face. Gods descend with commands, ancient promises are tested, and a handful of pomegranate seeds may determine whether she can ever truly return home. Can Demeter bring her daughter back before the barren earth loses everything?
