Peter Lenzo: In Memory of his Memory is a collection of works that span severaldecades of the late artist's life. For Lenzo, his face jugs were a homage both totraditional Southern pottery practices and to the friends and family who inspired thework he so lovingly created. But it is so much more. Lenzo, who suffered a head injuryearly in life that resulted in seizures, epilepsy, and ultimately dementia, used his art as away of channeling his despair as well as his elation.
