The purpose of this study is to address the problem of the philosophy of action and to identify the causes and context of changes in the understanding of the nature and essence of action. This problem encompasses the following questions: 1. Is action a force that builds or destroys the individual? 2. What are the human values aimed at eliminating the "deficit" of action? 3. How are the primary impulses of action-reason and will-related? 4. How can one overcome the incompleteness of human expression, which consists in the conflict between the knowledge of truth and moral action? Drawing on extensive theoretical material, the author examines the role of action in an individual's life journey and in their moral development. The author examines the problem of the "deficit of action" in the modern global world of the "deficit of the human being" as a person and as an individual, and explores this problem in the context of the history of Western and Russian philosophy. The book is intended for specialists in the fields of the history of philosophy, social philosophy, anthropology, and psychology.
