Returning to New York City, I witnessed SoHo transform from a desolate area into a thriving artistic community. In the early seventies, my journey led me to Eastport, Maine, where I embraced the back-to-the-earth movement, nurturing a garden and welcoming my daughter into the world. However, by 1975, as a divorced single mother, I sought new horizons in San Francisco, inspired by global teachings and spiritual communities. Throughout these explorations, I recognized that the protective walls I had built also isolated me from my true self. My deepest desire became clear: to live with an open heart and rekindle my trust in life.
