Planetary Purpose Come Grow With Me...: Social, Emotional Identity

Planetary Purpose is a series of small childrens books reflecting upon childhood growth and development. As an educator, I have witnessed many children with worry and fear; as, Markus the box turtle exhibits in this series. These playful characters are all personified by those I have come to teach and meet throughout decades of experiences. Elephant Blue, a bumble bee, the butterfly or a banana tree each have a story to tell. Each character has an emotional conflict and a resolution for continuing their individual growth. To understand our anxieties and feelings are true. To allow patience and forgiveness upon ourselves is evident. We have a planetary purpose as writers and creators to educate. Allowing families to feel we are all safe, trusted and are all exploring at our own pace and rates. Through these series, the books will grow as our children. We will continue to add stages of development throughout childhood into adolescence. The storytelling will grow with your children.
