Please, Anything But Public Speaking - A Business Fable

Public speaking may not be Eli Carter's main instrument, but that doesn't stop his boss from asking him to take the stage before two hundred leaders. With five weeks to prepare, Eli must decide whether fear will keep calling the shots.Alongside four reluctant classmates, Eli enters Walter Sloan's early-morning Speaking Lab. He'll meet a rambling extrovert, a perfectionist, a skeptical engineer, and a quiet facilitator still haunted by one bad presentation-and discover that fear wears different disguises.Through candid conversations, rough rehearsals, unexpected setbacks, and Walter's practical guidance, the group learns to work with fear, quiet the impostor voice, build messages people can follow, strengthen their presence, and recover when things go wrong.Eli doesn't need to become a professional speaker or sound like anyone else. He just needs to stop holding himself back. And his journey may help you do the same.
