Poczernin [p¿¿t¿¿¿¿rnin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina P¿ösk, within P¿ösk County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of P¿ösk and 54 km (34 mi) north-west of Warsaw. Gmina P¿ösk is a rural gmina (administrative district) in P¿ösk County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. Its seat is the town of P¿ösk, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of 127.3 square kilometres (49.2 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 7,135. P¿ösk County (Polish: powiat p¿öski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Masovian Voivodeship, east-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is P¿ösk, which lies 63 kilometres (39 mi) north-west of Warsaw. The only other town in the county is Raci¿¿, lying 25 km (16 mi) north-west of P¿ösk.
