Poetry...or What?

This is no ordinary anthology of poetry, even without the scrap-book images, which should help to brighten your day!However, what it is, is a friendly and informal look at poetry or verse as a means of communicating, but leaving thereader to answer the question in the title. The intention is to use forms of poetry to provide relatively easy understandingof some subjects or observations, mostly from today's world.There will be something for everybody; but be prepared for the odd unexpected twist!Besides two guest poems, one from Glasgow from a generation ago, and another from Australia, more recently, thereare three types of off ering. Firstly, some Sonnets, with Shakespearian structure, but with a somewhat scarcity of romanticthoughts or ideas! Then there are over two hundred 3-line Haikuesques - which will be explained - and which,between them, must include some interesting or challenging ideas for everybody. Finally, a range of Poems, from fourlines to four pages in length, and a variety of styles from being more formal, with regular verses and rhyming, to muchless formal.
