The book collects the English translations of Blaustein’s works on Husserl’s phenomenology and his letters to Twardowski, and by doing this, it contributes to today’s scholarship on early phenomenology and the Lvov–Warsaw School. The book is a unique collection of the English translations of texts and letters of the underrepresented Polish scholar, Blaustein, who was educated by the leading philosophers of his time, including Husserl, Twardowski, and Stumpf. This book tracks how the phenomenological method resonated in the vibrant intellectual environment of the Lvov–Warsaw School, and fills the gap in contemporary scholarship on early phenomenology. The collection provides helpful source materials in regard to the issue of how the theory of intentionality was developed in the first decades of the twentieth century.
