Rus doesn't think there's anything wrong with punching bigots. Some call it anger issues or impulse control; he sees it as clearing away the cesspool of hateful idiots. All the same, he doesn't want his rage to control him or push away the two people he's beginning to care deeply for. Dylan's façade of joy is so masterful, he even deceives himself most days.
