This book presents for the first time a group of polychaete annelids that live in the waters of the artificial coastal lagoon "La Escollera", in a semi-estuarine environment that represents a large accumulation of marine biodiversity in the middle of a tourist resort. This work seeks to serve as a basic document to understand the diversity of polychaetes that live on mangrove roots, among tufts of macroalgae, among sponges, and conglomerates of bivalves and ascidians, among others, forming a web of life typical of estuarine environments.
