Bol This study examined how port infrastructure constraints affect petrol supply adequacy in Calabar Municipality, Cross River State, Nigeria. The Calabar Port, which is key to fuel importation in the state, faces major structural and operational challenges that disrupt supply. Using a descriptive survey design, data were collected from 250 respondents including port operators, fuel distributors, logistics managers, petroleum company staff, and regulatory officers. The study tested four factors: Port Infrastructure Capacity, Operational Efficiency, Regulatory Compliance, and Logistics/Hinterland Connectivity. Findings from correlation and regression analysis showed that all four factors had significant negative effects on petrol supply adequacy. Together, they explained 55.2 percent of supply problems in the area. The study concludes that weak port infrastructure is a key cause of petrol supply shortages in Calabar. It recommends urgent modernization of the port, automation of operations, streamlined regulations, and improved hinterland transport to ensure stable fuel supply.
