Prayers of Sweetness: 26 Night Sweetness, Mercy and Compassion

Prayers of Sweetness- 26 Night of Sweetness, Mercy and Compassion The Sweetness of God at the Close of the Day There is something precious about coming into the presence of Jesus at night. The activities of the day begin to quiet. The conversations have ended. Responsibilities are laid aside. The noise around us becomes softer, and our hearts have an opportunity to reflect upon the goodness, mercy, and compassion of God. Night can also be a time when thoughts become louder. We may remember what happened during the day. We may think about what we should have said, what we wish we had done differently, what still needs to be accomplished, or what tomorrow may bring. Some nights end with thanksgiving. Other nights end with questions, weariness, concern, disappointment, or tears. But every night can end with Jesus. The purpose of Prayers of Sweetness: 26 Night Prayers of Sweetness, Mercy and Compassion is to help the believer close each day in prayer, Scripture, thanksgiving, reflection, and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ.
