---------------You've probably stood next to a princess without even realizing it. We're surrounded by them. We just don't realize it because they don't always wear their crowns. When we think of princesses, we imagine castles and fairy tales, princes and dragons, but not all princesses belong to the realm of fantasy. There are princesses all around us. Princesses who work, pursue their dreams, live love stories, take care of others and themselves… Modern-day princesses. You surely know one; perhaps the cashier at the supermarket, your classmate, or your mother, your grandmother, or even you! A celebration of smart, courageous, modern princesses, of different ages, interests, and professions who aren’t waiting around to be rescued.
