This book provides an overview of the current state of knowledge regarding rabbit reproduction and the potential role of probiotics in improving reproductive and zootechnical performance. It presents the main anatomical and physiological foundations of reproduction, including induced ovulation, gestation, parturition, and lactation, as well as the factors influencing fertility, prolificacy, and kits' survival. In the context of reducing the use of antibiotics as growth promoters, probiotics represent a promising nutritional alternative. They can help balance the gut microbiota, improve digestion, strengthen the immune system, and limit the growth of undesirable microorganisms. Particular attention is given to *Saccharomyces cerevisiae*, which has been extensively studied in animal nutrition. Available results indicate that probiotic supplementation may promote certain reproductive parameters.
