Promotion of Physical and Sports Activities for People with Disabilities

With the aim of increasing its membership, the Meurthe-et-Moselle Departmental Handisport Committee seeks to promote physical and sports activities among a broad audience. This book helps us establish the context for promoting physical and sports activities within the Lorraine region. An analysis of data from our various stakeholders was necessary to assess the conditions for access and participation for people with physical and/or sensory disabilities. Organizing discovery or promotional events, such as the National Handisport Day held this year in Champigneulles, remains essential for achieving these goals. However, communication remains a key factor in facilitating the organization of events that encourage the participation of all stakeholders in the region. Support from political leaders-whether at the national, regional, or departmental level-is essential for promoting physical and sports activities.
