This Summer 2026 issue includes academic book reviews from Editor Anna Faktorovich that question the traditional conclusions that repeat mythologized or propagandistically fictional histories about colonialism, empire, and other fields. Though some reviews merely appreciate recent releases that depict grand experimental art or succeed in literary humor. Short stories range between anachronism, naturalism criminology and forensic psychology from James Joaquin Brewer, Louis Gallo, Beth Goldner and Luke Michael Del Vecchio. The poetry section features experimental pieces from old and new contributors: Beate Sigriddaughter, Henry Stimpson, Joshua St. Claire, Zhu Xiao Di, John Harrison, William Heath, Geoffrey Heptonstall, Robin O'Brien Hiteshew, Rob Luke, and John Charles (Chuck) Priestley.
