Psalms of the Greenman: A collection mystical free verse poetry and writing prompts

As I present "Psalms of the Greenman," I am reminded of the journey that brought me to this moment, one marked by trials, synchronicities, and mystical experiences. This collection of freeverse poetry is a testament to the incredible and, at times, unbelievable moments that shaped my path.First and foremost, I extend my deepest gratitude to my wife and daughter, whose unwavering love and support have been my guiding light. Without their strength and encouragement, this work would not have been possible.Reflecting on my departure from the Navy, I recall a series of challenges that tested my resolve. For four months, I went unpaid, and was denied an opportunity for an internship in Atlanta. When I finally moved to Atlanta, the musicians who had agreed to collaborate with me flaked, adding to my sense of isolation. I bought a house that turned out to be haunted, was involved in a car wreck, a couple surgeries and witnessed a series of synchronicities connected to the Greenman. Dreams I had long ago began to manifest in my waking life."Psalms of the Greenman" is my attempt to capture these mystical and transformative experiences through poetry. Each verse is a reflection of the magical, surreal, and sometimes harrowing journey I've traversed. It is a collection born from the depths of my soul, shaped by the trials and triumphs of my life, and some additional materiel born from the aftermath when I sought solace in nature, my travels from California, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and finally back to where I started, my home state of Ohio.I invite you to step into this world with me, to experience the magic and mystery that have defined my path.
