PSYCHOENVIRONMENTAL THARAY IN RWANDA: THE RESPONSE TO IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND ADAPTATION STRATEGIES RUSIZI RURAL COMMUNITY

Our book contributes to the understanding of socio-environmental impacts and local adaptation strategies of climate change phenomena by identifying psychological disorders in order to provide a modeling of psycho-environmental therapy in the rural community of Rusizi district in Rwanda.The SWOT method has facilitated the detection of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of adaptation strategies to the impacts of climate change phenomena commonly used in Rusizi with a view to putting into practice the proposition of the modeling of Psychoenvironmental therapy in Rusizi district Rural community. This places particular emphasis on maximizing the potential of forces and opportunities and on minimizing the effects of the weaknesses and threats of the strategies mentioned above. Using remote sensing methods, the 2005 and 2015 Landsat TM 4-5 satellite images from the eartexplorer.usgs.govs website were processed to be analyzed and classified by the ARC GIS 10.3 software, in order to get an idea of the spatial and temporal evolution of land use.
