PUBLIC HEALTH IN THE AGE OF TECHNOLOGY: AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH

The book presents an interdisciplinary approach that aims to redefine health as the foundation of freedom, reality, and human dignity. Rather than seeing health as a mere biological state, the work situates it within the relationship among the body, society, and moral structures. Drawing on critical philosophy and biomedical science, the book analyzes the pillars of the modern health system: equity in access, quality of services, and affordability. Concepts such as disease burden, risk factors, and primary care are reframed as cognitive and action tools to reduce inequalities and optimize resource use. At the same time, the book emphasizes the role of preventive medicine, school health, occupational health, and primary care systems as a continuous chain of life protection across the life cycle.
