This title presents a stunning array of handmade envelope projects of all shapes and sizes that crafters will love! Projects include embellishing envelopes with stamps and stencilling, different folding techniques and using recycled materials. Projects also include packaging for CDs, photographs, gift cards and more. So often we focus on what's in the envelope, we forget the envelope itself. But this collection, the first of its kind, takes the opposite approach: it embraces the envelope as a creative form for crafters to play with. Devised by a group of talented designers, these unique handmade envelopes come in all shapes and sizes. Some simply involve embellishing commercial envelopes with surface treatments, such as stamping and stencilling. Others require folding techniques, while a few use unconventional and recycled materials.
