In today's environment, the reliability and safety of space systems increasingly depend directly on the space-grade software (SGS) used in them. Incompleteness, uncertainties, and differing interpretations in the definition and formalization of SGS quality characteristics and their required values leave ample room for arbitrariness in describing and evaluating their quality. These factors justify the need to develop and apply special programs, formalized methods of description, and quality assessment for each SPPS project. This work substantiates the specific features, general requirements, and principles of SPPS quality assurance. Taking into account the purpose, specific features, operating conditions, the degree of importance of individual requirements, and other factors, a model of SPPS quality has been substantiated and constructed. To assess the quality of space system software, a system of measurable (evaluation) indicators has been formed based on the constructed basic quality model. The book is intended for specialists in the field of space system software, as well as students majoring in relevant disciplines at higher education institutions.
