This book is the result of the work of Academic Group 268: Quality of Life and Human Development, within the LGAC: Quality of Life, Violence, and Disasters, and is part of the specific project "Quality of Life and Psychosocial Factors in Organizational, Educational, and Social Contexts."Through a course-workshop designed for older adults, the book demonstrates how strengthening emotional and social resources can improve quality of life and reduce depression during this stage of life. With a mixed-methods research approach and an accessible narrative, the text combines data, testimonials, and reflections to offer a comprehensive view of well-being in old age.More than a study, this book is an invitation to understand and value the experience of aging, acknowledging the challenges but also the possibilities of building a fulfilling life.
