A muse to a poetry written a long, long time ago about a beautiful lady. It is the story of a woman who shared the same name as hers but in a different world. Our present world where she is still the most beautiful woman to ever lived and still the muse to many, an inspiration to the literary works.A contemporary romance inspired by the iconic ballad Raajamati, one of the most beloved traditional love songs in Nepal Bhasa (Newar language).In this reimagined version, a new Rajmati steps into today's world. Her story may carry echoes of the story it is based on, but her fate will unfold on very different terms. With Easter eggs hidden throughout - drawn from folk songs, films, and cultural references - this novel invites readers to rediscover Newar culture. The story explores friendship, love and healing from the past.
