Ramblings of a Jetset Gypsy

David Drew was a shy English boy living in post-World War II London. Through sport, art, drama, and as a Scouter and assistant youth club leader, he matured into a young man eager for adventure. Due to a Groundhog Day moment, David found himself thrust into a world of dust, heat, snakes and mosquitos as big as helicopter gunships. He found love in Zambia, was washed downstream towards a drop over Victoria Falls, survived two bouts of malaria, charging elephants and baboons, a burning boat in the Nigerian Delta, and many more adventures in Central and East Africa, Libya, Iran, Jordan and Sri Lanka.Migrating to Western Australia in the 1980s, his family found the perfect environment to thrive. David melded family, work and play, seizing professional and personal development opportunities as they presented. Although his private life was packed with physical pursuits including sailing, martial arts, scuba diving and recreational flying, he continued his quest to discover the connection between different cultural beliefs, the spiritual and esoteric, and communication portals between the third and fourth dimensions. All this while driving cultural change in a corporate environment, encouraging companies and everyone he met to be the best possible versions of themselves.
