Rats, stalkers & construction workers: Is it influence or just fate?

I knew instantly it was going to end badly, I just did know how badly. I should have trusted my instincts. When something feels wrong, run in the other direction, like the devil is after you, even if it means taking off your heels to do it. Have you ever wondered if you are where you are supposed to be? If so are you there because it was fate or was it the decisions you have made? Were those decisions purely you or were they somehow shaped by the people who have crossed your path?Surely the interactions we have at all stages in our lives have an influence on what we do and how we grow as a person but do we consciously allow that to happen. Do we seek out those people or do we meet them by chance?Could it be the behaviour of the women in the earlier years that laid the foundation for finding a home working in a male environment. For having a small circle of friends where the men outnumbered the women? Was it destiny? Are you brave enough to ask those questions? Maybe you don't care. Or is it that you just don't want to know?
