A life marked by storms, and by the art of swimming against the current. Deeply authentic emotion, in its rawest form. There are silences that suffocate, those that protect, and those that condemn. There are eyes that don't see, words that go unheard; and wounds we learn to hide in order to keep moving forward. From the age of 12, I understood I would have to fend for myself. Against violence. Against injustice. Against a world that looks away. So, I endure, I adapt and I survive. Until the day the body rebels and gives out and everything I had buried resurfaces. This book is not just the story of a shattered life. It is the story of an invisible battle, a slow, painful, imperfect reconstruction... but a real one. Between memory, body and resilience, RE. is a journey I would like to invite you on. An immersion into what we keep silent, what we endure, and what we become. Because there is always an after, even when everything seems to have been devastated.
