Pull up a stool and grab a drink-a lot can happen before last call! After building a stable career in the trades, Dennis leaves his day job for one in the nightlife and buys a raucous rural Ontario bar with his brother Bill. He quickly finds that learning to sling drinks is the least of his worries-his first week ends with him bruised, bloodied, and in need of dental care. Welcome to the world of boom town bars! Recollections of a Boom Town Bar Owner tells unbelievable true stories straight from the bustling industry hubs of Port Elgin and Marathon, Ontario. Hilarity and debauchery await as Dennis and his staff tussle with sketchy patrons, greasy bikers, corrupt politicians, and anyone else who tries to raise the wrong kind of hell in their establishment.
