Red Dog: Early Years

Family drama directed by Kriv Stenders and starring Jason Isaacs and Levi Miller. When Michael Carter (Isaacs) is asked by his young sons if they can have a pet dog, he recounts to them the story of his youth on the cattle ranch of his grandfather in the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia, and the red dog which changed his life forever. As a young boy, Mick (Miller) finds the dog hiding in a tree in the wake of a flash flood and names him Blue. Together they live and work and grow up on the ranch and meet many colourful characters.
