REDEMPTION: Bobby Reynolds: The Guitar Man

Redemption, unashamedly has echoes of a Mancunian, Rocky style tale! A once, hugely talented, but now washed-up boxer and part time Saturday afternoon busker, 34-year-old Bobby Reynolds, is given the most unexpected shot at the undisputed Heavyweight championship of the world, by the champion ''Union'' Jack Flagg. Both men are seeking redemption for differing reasons. Bobby, for wasting a career when as a young fighter he was being deemed as a potential world champion, only to throw it all away because of his lifestyle. As for the champ, Flagg, maybe Britain's greatest ever heavyweight, but his heavily marketed-persona and perceived arrogance makes him highly unpopular with boxing fans and the public in general. He desperately wants people to see the real champ. So, the idea comes for a Christmas extravaganza at Wembley stadium! To give an unknown fighter a shot at his title during the most wonderful time of year! As Oasis, rock pre-fight to a 90,000 ecstatic audience, and the real life Rocky, Sylvester Stallone, watches on ringside, Bobby Reynolds, nicknamed, The Guitar Man, attempts the seemingly impossible by taking on and trying to beat the Heavyweight champion of the world...
