Reflections on non standard employment in Africa

Faced with the rise of atypical employment in Africa, where flexibility often rhymes with precariousness, the author explores the major issues involved in securing these forms of employment. In a context where innovation and entrepreneurship are redefining the labor market, this book questions the fragility of the legal frameworks surrounding these new professional dynamics. Part-time, temporary and digital-economy jobs certainly offer opportunities, but expose workers to socio-economic risks without adequate protection.
