The global push toward carbon neutrality has placed the building sector at a critical crossroads. Responsible for nearly 40% of energy-related CO2 emissions, buildings must transform from energy consumers into prosumers, producing, storing, and sharing renewable energy. This Special Issue captures the forefront of that transformation. The presented papers advance knowledge on renewable energy technologies integrated with green buildings to achieve sustainable, high-performance, and low-energy systems.
