Although she refused to give reprint permission for quotes from her novel about Helen Memel, this hasn’t stopped Swiss author Bruno Barrett from responding to Wetlands with his own reflective interpretation. With its interplay of gravity and irony, Responding to Wetlands is contemporary mix of novel and non-fiction. It’s the perfect companion to Wetlands or an interesting read on its own.
