Migraine is a chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of moderate to severe headache, often associated with nausea, vomiting, photophobia, and phonophobia. It is considered one of the leading causes of disability worldwide and significantly affects the quality of life, daily activities, and productivity of affected individuals. The prevalence of migraine has increased in urban populations due to changing lifestyles, stress, sleep disturbances, dietary habits, and environmental factors. Despite its high burden, migraine remains underdiagnosed and undertreated in many communities. This retrospective study was conducted to analyze the occurrence, demographic distribution, clinical characteristics, triggering factors, and treatment patterns of migraine among individuals residing in the community of Vadodara. This book provides valuable epidemiological and clinical insights into migraine and may contribute to improved healthcare planning, preventive strategies, and community-based management approaches for migraine disorders.
