Return of the Phoenix: A tale that is "Out this world!"

Test pilot Chad Walker, a vivid dreamer, flies an extremely fast, nuclear-powered, experimental aircraft on its virgin test flight. During a tornadic experience, Chad blacks out. He awakens to find himself in a mountainous scene in a log cabin. His severely damaged aircraft is stashed inside a nearby large barn. A local repair-expert offers his help. Chad declines the offer at first to contact his superiors instead. However, his efforts are fruitless; he is walled in, and there is no possibility of outside contact. Chad reluctantly accepts the neighbor's offer. The two, with the additional help of a lady, an expert aircraft mechanic, begin a two-year project to repair the glorious aircraft so Chad can fly it out and return it to his superiors. Things are not as they seem. Chad has frequent vivid dreams: nightmares. He ultimately discovers that his dreams are reality and his reality is a dream. Chad and his helper begin an epic journey that will affect the daily lives of millions of people for many centuries to come.
