Bol Have you felt it? There is change brewing around what it means to be a mother in our modern world. More and more mums are questioning the memos we've been handed down about our role as mothers. Memos that would have us put the needs of everyone around us before our own. Memos that say we must control and punish our children's behaviour rather than help them understand the feelings underneath. Memos that implicitly tell us, that if we are finding motherhood difficult, we're doing something wrong.Rewriting the Mum-Memos is part of this mumming revolution! In an easy-to-read, candid and often funny way, this book looks at some of these old, unhelpful, memos and offers new memos that could better support modern mums in their mothering journeys. Rest easy in the knowledge that if you find being a mum hard, it does not mean you are doing anything wrong!
