Joseph Henry Green (1791-1863) was one of the great medical men of the nineteenth century. Professor of Surgery, Lecturer in Anatomy and President of the Royal College of Surgeons, Mr. Green devoted his intellect and skill to the benefit of his country and the improvement of his profession. Christian Philosopher and friend to Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Mr. Green has presented in The Spiritual Philosophy, the results of his own, and that of his more famous friend's, life-work.
