When a woman overwhelmed by the pain of oppression decides to silence her voice, how will it impact her life and her bloodline? Each son makes his own decision, and these decisions impact multitudes of descendants and generations within Creek City, Alabama, culminating in various battles and confrontations on the haunted property formerly known as the Magruder Plantation.
