Rival Blood: 2

When the murders hint at a creature from folklore, Cooper M. Reid is pulled into his most dangerous case yet. Cooper M. Reid once worked as a Special Agent for a covert government division, investigating the kinds of phenomena most people refuse to believe exist. After vanishing for a year and returning with no memory of where he’d been, he now follows an unexplainable pull toward those threatened by the supernatural. That pull leads him to a terrifying new case where members of an inner-city gang are dying in gruesome, mysterious ways, and the pattern points to a mythological creature Cooper always believed was nothing more than fiction. As he follows the trail of violence through the city streets, he finds himself trapped between a brewing gang war and a relentless monster that refuses to stop hunting. Rival Blood is the second novel in the Cooper M. Reid supernatural thriller series, blending dark folklore, tense investigation, and high-stakes danger as Cooper faces a monster that may be far more real than legend. ___________________________________________________________________ Praise for the Cooper M.
