The exhibition Robert Krier in Amiens was the result of an encounter between the city of Amiens, renowned for its exceptionally beautiful Gothic cathedral, and Robert Krier, a leading figure in the world of architecture and arts in Europe. In 1984, an ideas competition was launched for the reconstruction of the city's historic centre, and led to the decision to entrust part of its future to the Vienna-based artist.
