Routledge Research in Arts Education Culturally Responsive Pedagogies for the Orchestra

This innovative volume explores the potential of alternative seating practices (ASP) to revolutionize orchestral music teaching in US schools and beyond by improving musicians’ social and musical experiences, including peer mentorship.
